  1. Folks, we can stop this RIGHT NOW by turning to a culture of driving In-Country Value, by converting all our raw materials into QUALITY value added product. It will enable us to provide for all our local needs, kick-start our local manufacturing, drive real jobs and real wealth. It will also enable us to become a NET EXPORTER instead of importer. See this example by Price Waterhouse Coopers Qatar https://www.pwc.com/m1/en/publications/catalysing-in-country-value.html

  2. Breaking News! The Guardian…A leading business group has exhorted the federal government not to engage in “megaphone diplomacy” with China, with the chief executive of the Australian Industry Group counselling that government ministers “need to find ways to make the relationship work”…Folks, therein lays the core of the problem. Industry dictating to our politicians the rules of engagement with China obviously appeasement and therefore more of the same treatment, but from an emboldened China. Scott Morrison, this is your initiation into manhood a true test of your integrity, vision, strength, courage, and endurance. Are you man enough? https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/may/14/australia-should-avoid-megaphone-diplomacy-with-china-over-trade-dispute?utm_term=RWRpdG9yaWFsX01vcm5pbmdNYWlsQVVTLTIwMDUxMw%3D%3D&utm_source=esp&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=MorningMailAUS&CMP=morningmailau_email

  3. Folks, I don’t blame China for our current situation, I blame us. We let this happen. We continued throughout the years to elect the same weak, ineffective politicians on both sides of politics and stood by whinging and watching their internal dog fights. Meanwhile, China watched bemused and did whatever they wanted, dictating the rules, steadily progressing their expansionary agenda with a focus and a dogged determination that we could only dream of. She’ll be right? Well, it’s not. Now it’s time to stand up to them, impose more equitable rules, be willing to lose them as a trading partner, risk offending them if necessary and be prepared for their increased sabre rattling and threats. We need to cement relationships with other partners who will treat us with respect, but at all times ensure that our politicians put Australia’s interests first.

  4. Share and share please everyone.
Over consumerism is boosting China’s economy to the demise of Australian growers and businesses.
Only buy what you need not what you want because it’s something new and you want a new toy. Look back at our parents who bought a car an Australian made car and kept it and maintained it with the local mechanic, bought local products manufactured by Australian companies. Keep our hard earned cash here in Australia. Stop buying cheap Chinese that doesn’t last and ends up in land fill. Start now start today. Buy Australian owned Australian made. Support Australian jobs. Just saying.

  5. Amazing we only export as much to India as we do to tiny NZ!! There are other markets we should be looking towards rather then the Chinese bullies.
