For the record, GCCC has primary management responsibility for managing the Coombabah internationally protected catchment and wetlands but refuses to respond to residents urgent requests or take effective action to mitigate the damage.

However, they have limited authority does not extend beyond the last navigation marker in the creek opposite the Turana St ramp. They also have a very small budget with no funds to extend beyond their current program of works.
